Range: Eastern Australia

Habitat: Woodlands and grasslands

Natural Diet: Grazing animal preferring grass and leaves

Diet at Rain Forest: Prepared Wallaby diet with grasses.

Size: Up to 40 pounds

Rain Forest Facts: Wallabies are normally solitary animals by nature, occasionally forming small groups known as mobs. 

Status in Wild: Wild populations of Bennett's wallabies are stable at this time with a few populations actually expanding their range due to the reduction in natural predators. 

 

 

 

Think of a Wallaby as a little version of a Kangaroo!  These cute little marsupials are small replicas of Australia's most famous hoppers.
