  The Education Department of RainForest Adventures is committed to helping students of all ages develop caring attitudes towards nature and the many wonders it contains.  

Your class trip to the RainForest is only a click away.  The following are the basic guidelines for planning your trip to the RainForest.  Please feel free to contact us via email to schedule your field trip (questions are ok too!)

Qualified Groups:

• All public School Groups of 20 or more students (Max Group size is 250 students)

• Private school/Home School Groups of 20 or more paying guests

• Smaller groups are always welcome! Please contact us for special group rates & programs for groups under 20

Rates:

• $4.00 per student

• Teachers & Teacher Assistants are always no-charge with school groups.  Our thanks to you!  *special rules apply to home school groups

• One complimentary escort per 5 paying students

• Additional Chaperones are only $7.00 ea.

Your Students Exploration!

Like all good explorations a little planning goes a long way! Here is a brief explanation of what your group will experience while visiting RainForest on a field trip!

What happens when we arrive???

• Your students will arrive to a greeting by one of our educational staff, the students will be seated for a 30-45 min. presentation that is structured to the applicable grade level of the students. 

• Our Educators have many years of experience helping students of all ages discover the many unique and interesting aspects of the natural world around us.

• The group is then released to view all of the animals on exhibit.  The average length of stay for K-8 is 1 hour and 45 min., slightly longer for older grades. 

• You are encouraged to bring cameras and video cameras to capture this truly unique educational experience.

• Your group is welcome to shop in AMAZON TRADERS the most fun and educational gift shop you have ever seen!

Before, During & After

In order to help you better prepare your students for their exploration we have created a program that is available to all educators who book a group with RainForest at No Charge! 

As the name implies the Before, During and After program gives you both in-class and on-site activities that are targeted at your students grade range to help you prepare them for what they are about to see and learn. 

Before provides the students with vocabulary words structured around their applicable grade to help them be better prepared for their exploration to the Jungle! 

During  provides you with fun, interesting facts about the animals here at RainForest in a "scavenger hunt" format for your students to utilize to enhance their visit. 

After  provides suggested in-class activities to help you recap and reinforce the information that has been given to the students while visiting us.
